As a co-Chair of the Bay Area Financial Officers Group (BAFOG), Albert never stops thinking about how to provide the highest quality content and experience to each member. He has a deep network, and excels at making connections and providing resources.
Albert is the senior vice president and chief financial officer at Environmental Science Associates (ESA). He leads the fiscal functions of the firm, turning strategy into action and using financial information to inform decisions. Albert has more than 25 years of business experience in management and corporate finance. It includes designing and implementing cloud-based budget and financial reporting systems, and improving business services at reduced expense.
As a co-Chair of BAFOG, Isaac works hard to keep AEC peers abreast of key developments in best practices, technology and accounting. He is always thinking about how to provide the support CFOs need to be strategic business partners for their firms.
A former CFO, Isaac has nearly 20 years of business and leadership experience in Architectural and Engineering firms. He has successfully managed periods of rapid growth and hiring in his executive roles. Isaac’s latest venture is as a business consultant helping companies build high performance organizations. He partners with them to:
- Develop and execute growth strategies
- Improve financial infrastructure
- Hire and develop talented team members
As Director of Community Success for BAFOG, Lani partners with Albert and Isaac to communicate BAFOG’s vision and mission, plan and execute meetings, and support the BAFOG community at large. She wants members to have a variety of opportunities to connect with BAFOG and one another.
Lani has more than 15 years of experience working with professional services firms, including more than 13 years in the AEC industry. Most business leaders have a laundry list of challenges, but struggle to find the time and resources to solve them. Lani provides consulting and coaching services so clients uncover the source of their challenges, and develop a clear action plan to address them. Areas of expertise include: systems analysis and implementation, project accounting, meeting facilitation and training.
